Dr Michelle Ulor (BSc, MSc, PhD) is a music psychologist, DJ, and founder of Kinos Studio, a research-led music psychology consultancy helping brands, teams and spaces use music to enhance wellbeing, connection and impact through science-informed services. Named one of Brummell Magazine’s Top 30 Inspirational Women in 2024, her work bridges the gap between academic research and real-world application.

With a PhD in music and mental health and over a decade of experience across academia, startups and the creative industries, Michelle serves as a board member on the Global Wellness Institute’s music initiative, has advised VC-backed health startups, supported academic entrepreneurs, and has co-designed investor education programmes with leading venture firms.
Previously, she held a six-year residency on NTS Radio, wrote for Resident Advisor and Crack Magazine, and has partnered with Soho House, UCL, Design Hotels, Lloyds Baking Group, BUPA and others, building her reputation at the intersection of music, psychology and innovation.
