We are excited to announce the joint 19th International Conference on Music Perception and Cognition (ICMPC) and 13th triennial European Society for the Cognitive Sciences of Music (ESCOM) Conference held in Helsinki, Finland and Online.
Hosted by the Centre of Excellence in Music, Mind, Body and Brain, the conference will occur from August 16 – 20, 2027. Under the theme “Music, mind, body and brain”, the ICMPC – ESCOM 2027 conference welcomes contributions that address music as a dynamic human experience in today’s world.
ICMPC – ESCOM 2027 welcomes original abstracts for in-person and online oral or poster presentations, symposia, and workshops/demonstrations. Abstract submissions open 24 August, 2026 and the deadline is 31 October, 2026 (23:59 Eastern European Time). Detailed submission guidelines are available on the conference website, alongside information on the offered conference awards.
The keynote speakers of the conference are Prof. Tuomas Eerola, Dr. Patrick Savage, Dr. Bahar Tunçgenç, and Prof. Robert Zatorre.
