We would like to warmly invite proposals for member-initiated satellite events and workshops.
Workshops and satellite events will take place on the afternoon of the first day of the conference (8th December), and can be flexible in their duration, format, and number of speakers. If you have an idea, we would love to hear about it!
Workshops are intended to be more hands-on and an opportunity for participants to learn a new methodology, technology, or theoretical approach. It could also be a special-interest panel event that provides participants to engage in a discussion that doesn’t otherwise fit in a symposium event in the main conference (e.g., an early-career panel event).
Satellite events can be even broader and involve participants from outside the main conference. For example, you may wish to organise a public-facing talk or symposium on a theme related to the main conference.
If you plan on a submission, please keep in mind the diversity of your panel in terms of career stages, gender and University affiliations.
We do not have a set template, and welcome all proposals.
