Join the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, or online, for a Hook Lecture-Recital “Approaches to creativity in music and beyond” by Professor Roger Dean on Tuesday 24th October. Professor Dean will discuss various considerations and possible avenues for producing creative works, and will close with a performance on piano with computational accompaniment. This is a free and public event beginning at 6:30pm, followed by a catered social function with canapés and drinks from approx. 7:45pm. Roger Dean is Professor of Sonic Communication at The MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour & Development (Western Sydney University) as well as a pianist and composer, and the Artistic Director of AustraLYSIS.
