The 2024 SMPC conference will be held July 25-28, 2024 at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. The conference website is now live, and will be continually updated with important information about SMPC 2024.
Call for Submissions
The program committee is pleased to announce the Call for Submissions for SMPC 2024! SMPC invites abstract submissions for presentations, posters, and symposia to be shared at the conference in July. SMPC welcomes contributions from all disciplines exploring a wide range of themes in music perception and cognition, and strongly encourages submissions that span multiple disciplines, fostering a collaborative approach to understanding music perception and cognition. Interdisciplinary contributions are critical for enriching the dialogue and advancing our collective knowledge.
The deadline for submission is February 15, 2024, 11:59pm AoE (anywhere on earth; i.e., in your time zone). Results will be communicated in mid- to late April.
