Following the 8th SIMM-posium of last November in Australia (Brisbane), the SIMM network is calling for applications for two events:
1. SIMM research-seminar #8 on participatory opera and music theatre (Guildhall School, London, 9-11.09.24):
SIMM is from 9 to 11th September 2O24 proposing a research seminar on this practice in London, in a close collaboration with the
Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and with the Ghent University based academic Chair Jonet.

2. SIMM-posium #9 (Rhythmic Music Conservatory, Copenhagen, 5-7.11.24):
SIMM is since 9 years actively developing a network of scholars and practitioners interested in research on the role music may play in social and community music projects and programmes. This year’s SIMM-posium is organised in Copenhagen, Denmark, at and with the Rhythmic Music Conservatory and its Copenhagen Centre for Research in Artistic Citizenship (CReARC).
