The Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM) seeks to appoint a part-time (0.5 FTE) Research Fellow for a fixed term of 3 years. This role will contribute to a current project funded by the Australian Research Council’s Discovery Project scheme entitled: ‘Social cohesion and resilience through intercultural music engagement’. The role includes assisting in the development, execution and analysis of surveys and qualitative studies of existing or newly formed intercultural music ensembles. The Research Fellow will collaborate on publications and be involved fully in the intellectual life of the project. The Fellow will also assist with the co-ordination of relevant symposia and engage in public outreach and will gain experience in co-supervision of a PhD student.
