The Australian Music & Psychology Society is hosting an in-person conference in 2026, alongside the Asia-Pacific Society for the Cognitive Sciences of Music (APSCOM) and Bond University.
The AMPS/APSCOM 2026 Conference will be held from Wednesday, 9th December 2026 to Friday, 11th December at the Gold Coast, with the conference taking place at the Crowne Plaza, Surfers Paradise, Australia. There will be optional workshops and a welcome event held at Bond University, our university host, on Tuesday 8th December.
Ideally located between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, the Crowne Plaza venue is just minutes from the beach and well connected by public transport.
Travelling to the conference is straightforward, even if you’re arriving from interstate or overseas. Gold Coast Airport is nearby and easily accessible via bus and tram services. For those flying into Brisbane Airport, regular train services connect directly to the Gold Coast, with a simple transfer to the tram for travel to the venue.
